PS Are you ready to book in - BOOK HERE

Have you always wanted to write a book but simply didn't know where to start?

At some point, most of us have probably read a book and thought to ourselves “I could have done that, and probably done a better job!” It’s true, I’m sure you could. And there’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t. I meet a lot of people who have written and published their own book and it has absolutely transformed their life and their business.

But a word of caution - writing and publishing a book can be wildly confusing and challenging. And if you’ve ever jumped in boots ‘n all and had a go, you will know this first hand.

You have a great idea for a concept for a book, people are going to love it, in fact, it’s probably going to be a bestseller. You get all inspired and begin researching the how-to’s of writing and publishing, but the more you find out, the more you realise there is a lot to learn. Even figuring out where to start is a challenge.

Does this sound familiar?

There are so many suggestions (everyone seems to have an opinion), a million Do’s and Dont’s that you found on Google about the craft of writing, not to mention the myriad of options you uncover when you start looking at publishing and distribution… and you haven’t even started to contemplate that if you ever get your precious words into print, you have to find a clever way to make sure people know your book exists so that they can buy it.

You had no idea that writing the darn book was the easy part of the process and the hard work actually begins with what comes next – you find yourself asking the question “what is this ‘leverage’ people keep talking about?”

At this point you realise you’ve been wandering around in circles. It’s a jungle out there! Now you’re back to square one, more confused than before, and wondering where to begin. Am I right?

Don’t panic – I’ve got news that will be music to your ears!

There is a way to simplify the process of writing and publishing your own book and greatly increase the chances of your book being successful – it’s called Author INC - a 6 month programme.

One way to cut through the haze and jump straight to developing your concept and potential as a writer, is by enlisting the help of someone who has been there before – someone like me, Andrew Griffiths. Not to blow my own trumpet, but after 14 bestselling books that have been sold in 65 countries, I have become pretty good at this stuff! In fact, I’m now one of the most successful small business and entrepreneurial authors in Australia - I am officially Australia's #1 Small Business Author.

I’ve developed a really straight forward framework for writing, publishing and leveraging my work as an author. I teach this around the world and my framework for writing and publishing has been licensed for use in the UK, USA and Singapore. As mentioned earlier, I've actually coached over 700 people to write and publish their first (and in some instances, second, third and even fourth) book, a fact that I'm incredibly proud of. My programme is proven to work, as it has done many times over. BUT my real aim is to empower you, to teach you and to support and encourage you, so you can become a writer of books, not just a one hit wonder.

What will Author INC do for you?

The Author INC programme is a 6 month programme which will help you to develop a laser-like focus on the concept of your book and how to actually get it written. The programme is delivered through a series of eLearning modules, webinars and one to one coaching, all of which are centred around:

STAGE 1 - Turning an idea into a book

  • Getting clear on why you are writing a book
  • The writing and publishing framework - which maps out the process ahead
  • Getting clarity around your concept, then developing and testing to make sure it will resonate with readers and become a leveraging tool for your business
  • Assistance in articulating yourself and mentoring on the craft of writing: getting your thoughts on paper and then composing a compelling story which grabs the attention of your intended audience
  • Practical advice for authors: learning how to focus and be productive, techniques that drive you toward your end goal and help you to avoid the most common pitfalls and mistakes
  • Mentoring through a 40,000 word writing challenge
  • Guidance and planning for the publishing road ahead

“Many people think that the hard work in writing a book is producing the manuscript - it’s a myth! Finishing your book is where the real work begins, there are a lot of decisions to be made, and if you don’t have current information that is relevant to your specific set of circumstances, it can be incredibly daunting”.

STAGE 2- Formatting your book

  • Working your way through the decision making processes associated with different publishing and distribution methods
  • Working with graphic designers, editors and printers.
  • Developing an awareness of the ever-evolving market space, including understanding the Why’s and How’s of multi-platform publishing
  • Building industry networks and connecting with the right suppliers for your specific set of circumstances
  • Understanding Amazon and the role it plays
  • Guidance on building your online platform to meet stakeholder expectations in the electronic era
  • Executing a highly successful book launch

“This is where a lot of people come unstuck. The books arrive and they don’t know what to do next, so they go into a post publish slump. I can offer advice around exactly what you need to do."

STAGE 3 - Leveraging your book to generate new opportunities and revenue

  • First hand knowledge in distribution methods, marketing and sales techniques that work in the current market
  • Learning about the importance of promoting your profile as a credible authority in your subject area and the workload that you can expect
  • Planning (and celebrating) the launch of your book
  • Understanding the importance of your "Author Network Mind Map"

What I didn’t know about the `writers route`, is what Andrew Griffiths knows best – better than most. The what, the how and the who, is where AG shines, this is his space. Knowing he had my back all the way through the `minefield of writers process` was reassuring and a comfort... he was calm, patient, pushy, a counsellor and determined (he even offered the odd hug when required) for that I thank him.”

"Who would have thought I had a book in me?... Certainly not I, yet Andrew was able to help me see the value in the everyday things that I do and take for granted, and then show me the framework for turning my experience into a book. He helped me to break it down into manageable, bit sized chunks and also provided advice around cover design and publishing. I cannot speak highly enough of both Andrews support and the results the published book has had on my business. Thank you so much Andrew!"

“Before I began writing my book I felt completely overwhelmed at the thought, I guess like most people but Andrew said two things which gave me some confidence and encouragement. He said “Everyone has a book in them waiting to be birthed” and “Get the book done in 40 days at around 1000 words per day. Both those phrases gave me the drive to get it done as I came to believe in myself, all thanks for Andrew. Andrew gave me a great feedback early on and since writing the book has given me amazing tips on how to leverage the book. In fact, that’s been the third most important phrase of his “Now that you have the book, make sure you leverage it”
A massive thank you Andrew Griffiths.”
