BULLET LESSON FOR TODAY – There is no doubt that in my mind public relations is the way of the future, and I can’t let this opportunity slip by – getting in the media is actually much easier than it ever used to be, so do it where you can. I know that some of you might think “it’s easy for you to say that Andrew, you have ten books sold in every corner of the world so all media will want to talk to you”, and yes, I have a bit of an advantage, but don’t let that stop you. Make contact with the media, post comments on blogs, talk to the editor at your local paper and make friends with the producer of the local radio station. There are also a plethora of online radio stations to get your profile raised. In other words – go for it, PR is cheap, accessible and credible.
Follow Andrew’s advice – I did and it works. Every time!
