The power of the PODCAST

This BUSINESS BULLET you get your business building advice from a few areas. You can find out about Small Business Big Marketing, a podcast site with some really good advice delivered in a very interesting way. Tim Reid, the founder of the site is a podcasting expert and it really shows when you listen to a few of his episodes. More of that shortly. Secondly there are some interesting trends to be shared thanks to www.trendwatching.com. I have also announced the date for my next Professional Presenters Bootcamp if you happen to be in Cairns (or if you happen to need a short tax deductible holiday in Cairns). And last but not least, some news on the Kindle front. So grab a cup of coffee and enjoy my latest BUSINESS BULLET. Oh, one more thing, I have added a comment/feedback section at the end – feel free to drop me a line.

THE #1 SHOW ON THE #1 BUSINESS PODCAST IN AUSTRALIA
Do you listen to business building podcasts? They are a fantastic way to get really good information that is current, easy to listen to and hopefully entertaining. If you haven’t found the Small Business Big Marketing podcast site yet, you are in for a real treat. Run by my good friend, Tim Reid, this week Small Business Big Marketing was ranked the #1 Business Podcast on itunes (and this rating is based on the number of downloads). Tim and I are now doing a monthly Small Business Podcast episode, called Funny Business, where we talk about a range of business related issues and opportunities. Our first one was published last week and I am very pleased to announce that our episode is the most popular podcast on Small Business Big Marketing, which makes it the #1 episode of all episodes within all the business podcasts. A bit of a tongue twister – but you get the point, people really like what Tim and I had to say. We will be doing Funny Business at least once a month. Check out our first show – CLICK HERE

12 MINI TRENDS THAT WE ALL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
I believe that the more information we have about changes in the world of business, the better equipped we are to evolve in a way that can give us a competitive advantage.  I am a big fan of trendwatching.com and they have just released their 12 mini trends – which really identify consumer trends that we all need to know about. Check this out – and think about what it means to your business. I agree with each one, I see evidence of each trend and I am certainly using this information to plan my business over the next 12 months. To find out exactly what these trends are – CLICK HERE

PROFESSIONAL PRESENTERS BOOTCAMP
Yes, my next Professional Presenters camp is coming up in Cairns on the 28th of September. I am working to finalise my dates for this workshop to be run in conjunction with some other workshops around Australia and New Zealand. I will let everyone know when these workshops are being held. In the meantime, if you would like more information about my Professional Presenters Bootcamp in Cairns – CLICK HERE.

  1. Hi Andrew, thanks for another terrific bullet – just the helping of positivity alone makes it worthwhile!
I especially liked the trends info you included this time. Aren’t those teen E’s great! Makes me wish I could be reborn 10 years ago and have a life do-over 🙂
And building communities that lead to ‘custowners’ really resonates with me too.
All the best for your Presenters Bootcamp at the end of the month.
    Cheers, Jo
